Pakistan Cotton Yarn Export Price Stable China Strong Demand

In the past week, the demand for cotton yarn in Pakistan has remained sluggish and prices have continued to fall. The reason is that the new tax system has brought many problems and the decline in cotton yarn exports to Europe, and the recovery of Chinese orders has not been saved.
At present, Pakistan's textile enterprises are still not adapted to the new tax system, 30 combing yarn fell by 1.98 in a week. Export prices were relatively stable due to strong demand from Chinese buyers.
Polyester cotton yarn and polyester viscose yarn fell 1-2 Rs/lb, in line with raw material price movements. The new tax system has a greater impact on these two yarns because of the limited demand for such yarns abroad. Affected by it, Pakistan's domestic demand for blended yarn is still sluggish.
During the same period, the price of polyester staple fiber in Pakistan also fell sharply, due to reduced demand and lower prices of imported Chinese polyester staple fiber. 1.4D polyester staple fiber fell 2.6 percent, down 7.43 percent in the last four weeks. The price of imported Chinese polyester staple fiber fell to $0.0/kg and may fall further in the future.
At the same time, the profits of Pakistan's chemical fiber manufacturers fell to a low point, the operating rate fell, and the manufacturers will maintain their existing quotations. The price of viscose staple fiber fell with the import price, and the price of imported viscose staple fiber was US $1.48/kg.
